Dear Lord, can you believe the damage that one little Basque surfer Aritz Aranburu did at the Billabong Pro in Tahiti this year?

We know he can pigdog having grown up not far from Mundaka but his performance over there was pretty ridiculous. Watch his heat against Kelly on the Billabong Pro website.

On his road to the semi's he beat Dane, Kelly, Damo Hobgood and Tommy Whits. Aritz rode Chilli Surfboards on his way to his best ever World Tour result. Chilli would like to say Felicitaciones y gracias a Aritz y Pukas! Buena Suerte for the rest of 2009:)
