Our good buddy from Portugal Tiago "Saca" Pires enjoyed a relaxing Mexican holiday with fellow countryman Marlon Lipke last November.

Water was warm, waves were fun, with this one scoring the cover of SURF PORTUGAL magazine

Pukas team rider & good friend of Chilli, Ramzi Boukhiam has won the 2009 edition of the Quiksilver King of the Groms. The Moroccan lad beat French surfers Tom Neushwanger & Ian Fontaine, all three of them aboard Chilli Surfboards!
Ramzi and Tom will go on to represent Europe in the International Final of the King of the Groms, set to take place from 23rd September to 4th October, during the Quiksilver Pro France 2009.

Well done groms & good luck in the final!

Dear Lord, can you believe the damage that one little Basque surfer Aritz Aranburu did at the Billabong Pro in Tahiti this year? We know he can pigdog having grown up not far from Mundaka but his performance over there was pretty ridiculous. Watch his heat against Kelly on the Billabong Pro website. On his road to the semi's he beat Dane, Kelly, Damo Hobgood and Tommy Whits. Aritz rode Chilli Surfboards on his way to his best ever World Tour result. Chilli would like to say Felicitaciones y gracias a Aritz y Pukas! Buena Suerte for the rest of 2009:)
