The new issue of Australia's Waves Magazine, on sale now, comes with the hot new surf flick Eight Days Eight Slaves attached to its cover. The movie is the long-awaited sequel to Seven Days Seven Slaves, made eight years ago. Eight Days stars Tim Curran, Damo Hobgood, Jake Pato, Benji Weatherley, Taj Burrow, Luke Hitcho, Chilli part-timer Garrett Parkes and our boy Nathan Webster. Nudes was one of the original Seven Days cast members and proves that despite being a little older, a little rounder and a whole lot hairier he can still swing the axe. Nudes has one of the strongest sections along with Hitcho and Timmy Curran. Oz Wright also has a tidy little bonus section in the movie. The mag is on the news stands now. Grab it!

Nathan Webster, Jason Salsa Salisbury and Dustin Humphrey are currently thrashing steel horses (courtesy of Deus Ex Machina) up and down the east coast on a mission to round up waves. The three chums set off on their 650's – equiped with board racks and Chilli's – from the big smoke a week ago and have been hunting swell, getting lost, meeting new friends and ripping skids for a book/movie concept by Nudes and Hump. The original name for the trip was going to be "Swells Angels" but admist the current bikie war in Oz and for fear of a run in with the Hells Angels the boys decided to call the trip "Lovers'land". The photos will turn up in Surfing World shortly and there could be a book in the future, but in the meantime you can trace their journey and view surf footage on their blog at loverslandblog.com
