Tylah Hutchinson turns sixteen next month and he's lost the training wheels. Here's a recent sequence of the young fella freewheeling through a wild Northern Beaches barrel. Pulling in backside his hands go nowhere near the rails, putting faith in his fins and trust in his ability.  Via (swellnet.com.au)

Warriewood shredder, team Chilli rider & all round Mr Nice guy Tylah Hutchinson took out a convincing win at the Rip Curl Gromsearch in Cronulla today.

Tylah surfs with power & flare & i definitely one to keep an eye on.

“In the past few comps that I have surfed, I’ve only managed to get a few second and third places, but to take out the Cronulla GromSearch is such a good feeling,” said Hutchinson. “To win here is just amazing – a dream comes true!”
 
“Now I get a chance to surf in front of my heroes during the Rip Curl Pro!” Hutchinson said excitedly.

 Tylah's victory scores him a start in the Rip Curl GromSearch National Final held at infamous Bells Beach during the Rip Curl Pro over the easter holiday.

Just got back from Sumba. Had a great time with sick waves around 3-6 foot and two days got up over 10ft! Pretty sick as I never really get to surf bigger waves at home. Here's some pics, unfortunately I couldn’t get any in the big stuff as my mates dad who was taking the photos was out there when it got good. I loved my boards I took over they all went really well especially the A2 semi gun which went great when it got bigger.  I'll come in later this week to see you. Thanks"
